Review on Ultralight And Packable Water Bottle - Hydrapak Stow - Collapsible Squeeze Bag Pouch For Travel by Adam Cummings

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Nozzle cracked good for me

I love the soft bag, as it takes up less room in my pack the more I drink, and when I am out hunting the water doesn't slosh around in it making noise every time I shift weight. The bag itself seems to be pretty durable, lasting significantly longer than the nozzle. The nozzle cracked pretty early on and finally began to leak. There is no flavor with this, however I did wash it thoroughly prior to use.It is a hart bag to clean with a small opening, and a welded seam to keep it from expanding right in the middle of it. You have to be diligent in airing it out, or deal with using bleach/Hydrogen Peroxide to clean it if not. Wouldn't buy again simply based on the limited life-span of the lid, but otherwise a good bag.

Pros
  • ....but water has a strong plastic taste, which I think is gradually fading.
Cons
  • Not suitable for storing hot beverages
