We recently decided to repaint the kitchen table; it had this weird "color," this kind of "abandoned" color on anything we wiped it with, even a wet paper towel. We wiped down the (black) table and some of the paint came off which was very annoying and after a couple of years the table looked pretty shabby with odd colour/non-colour streaks. My husband sanded everything. Color and WOW, black dust was EVERYWHERE! We sucked it up, but we still touched the table to move it and our fingers were black with "table paint dust". Someone suggested we try Tack Cloths and we bought this 6 pack. Wow, these things really work! Just a few gentle strokes and all the table dust would come off the table and fall into the fabric. We've walked over the table (and stools) 3 times just to make sure we got all the dust off so we can now run our fingers over it with no dust or residue. Now to the painting itself. Oh lol.
