This unit comes pre-wired for select year Chrysler Jeep and Dodge vehicles and works right out of the box. Installed on a 2012 Jeep Liberty. The instructions say you need to connect 2 wires for my car: Yellow to Yellow and Green/Red to Purple. The combination of green/red and purple caused my first attempt to install to fail. never mind Disconnect everything from the module and press the reset button. The instructions state that the green/red and purple pairing is not needed for the Jeep Wrangler, and neither is the 2012 Liberty. After undocking and module reset everything worked great. There are a lot of unused wires on the 20-pin connector, but for my setup, all I had to do was connect the yellow wire to the yellow.
