I bought this item to use as an anchor for our swimmers on the lake. I made a living from the fact that it was possible to detach the float from the anchor and bring it to shore, leaving the anchor in the water. Obviously the plastic is water resistant but once the bag was closed and folded several times I hoped water wouldn't get in. It happened. When we left the lake I had to clean up the dirty mess.
