That does not work. The best in boating

This product is light weight and looks pretty good but it didn't last a day on us so it didn't break after we filled it with sand and lifted it around to hit it road use him, he tore it to pieces.

Pros
  • Test for a year
Cons
  • Almost never

Very big and strong anchor.

Much larger than I expected but perfect for what I need. I attached it to my beach float, filled it with sand and dropped the anchor. It kept me from drifting so I had a wonderfully relaxing day.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Nothing

Bad design for pack sacks

Unfortunately, this anchor broke the moment we threw it into the water to anchor the raft we had ordered. It just fell apart completely because it couldn't support the added weight (sand) and we didn't even fill it completely.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Lake Michigan waves ate it for lunch

Lake Michigan waves wrecked this thing in 20 hours. I also bought a Klox, the Klox was unaffected by the big waves and is still in use. Calpalmy's stitching was weak, a good product just needs work.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Fading

You need it! - Boating

So I bought this to tie me down so I don't drift in the sea and it works wonders. I just fill a bag with sand, put it on my float, lower it about 30 feet and can lie there all day without worrying about the counter current or the tide.

Pros
  • Builds Confidence
Cons
  • Some Difficulties

Easy to use, durable

Great product! I bought this for my kids to use with our inflatable kayak. They love kayaking in the lake. The waterproof bag can be filled with just enough sand to keep the kayak from drifting while still being light enough for my 7 year old daughter to transport despite being able to carry a lot more weight for a heavier boat to wear. Carabiners attach securely and easily to the boat and anchor. Easily emptied and rinsed after use, conveniently folds or rolls up for storage.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

too big for the application

I rent out waveguides to make a living. They served as sand anchors. Filling them with sand will make the bag too heavy so they will tear when you pull them out of the water. Maybe we could put less sand in it, but I have to explain that to all my customers and they all tend to forget. The best I could get from it was 1 day usage. In addition, the floating thing and the hook sucks, not to mention the rope is too long. Probably good for a loot bag application, but not a sand anchor.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • blank

Ineffective and broke within days

We bought this to use with the CoolerZ floating island. Even when filled almost to the brim, it wasn't heavy enough to prevent the swimmer from moving in the water. After 2 days at the lake the carabiner came loose from the rope so we had to screw it on to tie it down. On the 3rd day, the yellow float broke along its entire length. By the sixth day, the orange rope had faded so much that it looked like it had been in the water for years. Definitely a huge waste of money and there was no way toโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

It wasn't what I expected

I bought this item to use as an anchor for our swimmers on the lake. I made a living from the fact that it was possible to detach the float from the anchor and bring it to shore, leaving the anchor in the water. There is a buoy on the rope so you can see and get hooked. What disappointed me was the water resistance. Obviously the plastic is water resistant but once the bag was closed and folded several times I hoped water wouldn't get in. It happened. When we left the lake I had to clean up the
