They're the perfect size to fit in our trash can and they really help reduce odors; especially when you're cleaning out your fridge and throwing away foods that are WAY past their sell-by date. I'm not exactly sure if the sized containers for these deodorants are "standard" but they fit our container perfectly. The presence of 8 packs makes it easy to change them. Benefits: Reduces odor. Practical. They seem to have a fairly long lifespan. Cons: I can't think of any. Thoughts: In modern life, few things are more unpleasant than the smell of rotting food. It's great to be able to reduce this as much as possible. You are excellent at this task. If your trash can has a bin for it, buy one for yourself. You will not regret it. It costs a few bucks every few weeks to keep your kitchen smelling better. I love the convenience of the automatic power lid. The downside of this is that it will open if you just walk past it. If there is rot in the glass, this smell will be transmitted. It's great to have under these circumstances.
