This humidifier is a little smaller than I thought it would be, but it releases water vapour! As for the work as a humidifier, I am very satisfied with his work. I wasn't particularly interested in a small tray to put essential oils in, but I tried it just for fun. The instructions say you need to drop a few drops and then see how it goes (how rich the aroma is). I dripped a few drops and didn't feel any difference in the output. Later I completely soaked the pad with the same oil and there was hardly a faint smell. Not sure what the problem is - are the essential oils weak or is the airflow through the pillow not effective? In summary, if you buy this product to humidify a small space, you will be very satisfied. On the other hand, if you want it to primarily diffuse essential oils, you should look elsewhere. The LED light is a great feature as it makes for a great night light that isn't overly bright. By the way, the oil I used was the same brand as the moisturizer. It was packaged in three packs for about ten dollars and contained: vanilla, lavender and eucalyptus.
