I use this charger to charge my Black and Decker battery because B and D no longer make the charger so I was stuck until I saw a similar one working on the YOUTUBE website. I tried it and now I can charge my battery B and D and I am very happy with the results B and D didn't give me! That's why I no longer buy BLACK and DECKER instruments or anything else from this company! David Wollrage
