Review on PSCAD by James Wiley

The ability to design an entire project without writing any code! I am designing large scale energy projects that require modeling thousands upon thousands of components such as transformers or generators/motors etc. This software allows me to create all my component designs quickly using standard CAD drawings which saves time over creating them myself. It's not perfect but it does what we want very well so far. We are still learning how best to use this program, however there has been some improvement since our last meeting about 2 months ago when i first started working here. Creating custom parts like motors /generators /transformer windings was also easier than doing by hand (which would take too long).
