This product stinks! Don't buy it! This is COMPLETE WASTE! It will bring you heartache every time you "try" to open a jar with it. First, you "fight" and "fight" trying to "flatten" the edge of the knife so you can start slicing through the top of the can. and then, even if you start cutting, you'll struggle and strain to keep it in place for the entire cycle of cutting the lid of the jar! A woman or elderly person will NOT tolerate the horrible method/operation that would be required to try and open a can! Very bad product! Hamilton Beach should not make such a product. It may look nice, but it's a nightmare to use!
