I have a 2000 Ford F-150 Sport with a 5.4 liter Triton V8 engine with 175,000 miles on it. They say you never need to replace ignition coils if they are working properly. I say if you do a same mileage tune as me and you're still using the original coils then it's time for a replacement lol. When I pulled the original ignition coils out of my engine, the dust bags were very brittle and worn out. Now you can go to AutoZone or O'Reilly Auto Parts and buy new boots and springs. But I decided to buy brand new ignition coils as they are 4799 Apiec. When I pulled the original ignition coils out of my engine, the dust bags were very brittle and worn out. Now you can go to AutoZone or O'Reilly Auto Parts and buy new boots and springs. But I decided to buy brand new ignition coils since they cost $47.99 each at these parts stores. So I bought all eight of these Bravex coils for a lot less. Not only have these coils given me more power than the ones I had before, they are very well built and I get exceptional mileage and a very smooth motor. I highly recommend these roles!
