According to the size chart provided I should fit a medium size; However, I had to go up a size so that the zipped jacket would sit comfortably on my hips; If you have a classic "pear" shape, this is something to consider. If you choose size L, the jacket is roomy enough to wear over layers of clothing or a thick sweater. This jacket is a good addition to my wardrobe.
