Won't hold carbonation

I bought these bottles specifically to hold carbonated hard cider. Initially, the results were great. However, as the months went on, I noticed less and less carbonation in the cider. After six months, there is no carbonation left in any of the bottles of hard cider. While they do not leak liquid and seem to be decent quality, the seal will not hold carbonation more than a few months at most.
