First of all this company has great customer service. Unfortunately the product is not that good. Let's be honest if you are considering this product then are you looking for an affordable product for those that offer 2x or 3x as much then you should understand that you are getting a product that is not as good as the more expensive ones . Here is a breakdown of the questions: I ordered the product and it was very easy to install after figuring out the correct screw size. I did not fully tighten the thumbscrews so I could drive the product and determine the position that works best for my car (Lexus IS350). With this torque, the product moved significantly, as expected. But when I tried to fix it in the right position, the threads on the mount snapped, almost leaving a very important connection loose. I'm sure a little threadlocker would keep the thumbscrew secure, but then I wouldn't be able to adjust it in the future. I contacted the company to replace the bracket. They were polite, quick and I got a replacement quickly. But this time I was afraid of repeating the problem, so I applied less torque. Result: Nothing broke, but the mount needs to be corrected from time to time. So now you know what the problem is and how to avoid it. If you want to set up your device from time to time, do so. If you want high quality that I assume doesn't suffer from the same issues, spend more money.
