Fastening problem

The elastic bands used for fastening are not strong. One broke trying to fit a mirror to my Ford F-150. I actually bought 3 of these; for two of my cars and one for my lady's Mercedes ML350. The fact that the rubber band mounts even come close to the Mercedes mirror was out of the question. They were just too short, and after experiencing a failure on my F-150, I felt that stretching meant another break for the Mercedes. The camera is probably not bad, but I completely blew my money on the…

I love it! It works, costs too much and needs a tie!

Every time I drive through a rougher stretch of road it's not enough to adjust the mount's tightness and the radar detector now looks at the new position. This seems to mainly only affect the adjustment point closest to the radar/magnet, so I used a zip tie wrapped as tightly as possible around that section. It works for my car because the part of the mount that I need is completely covered there. The other adjustment point, closest to the mirror itself, doesn't seem to be a problem and makes…

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from the testers
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Fine, not a great value. The price seems a bit high for what you get.

Here's the thing. Compared to the so-called Blendmount, the price of €40 seems almost reasonable. And if it were a kit that included both the radar mirror mount and a wiring harness with wire to hard-wire the mirror mount to the car's 12V power supply, it would definitely cost $40-$50. But as it is, this thing is effective but not as sophisticated as it could be. For example, the bracket will scratch the mirror base if you don't protect it with a thin layer of plastic. But the manual doesn't…

Used for a few months all good not great

First of all this company has great customer service. Unfortunately the product is not that good. Let's be honest if you are considering this product then are you looking for an affordable product for those that offer 2x or 3x as much then you should understand that you are getting a product that is not as good as the more expensive ones . Here is a breakdown of the questions: I ordered the product and it was very easy to install after figuring out the correct screw size. I did not fully…

This mount works after the upgrade

This is a cool mount but the screws that come with the crap I can't quite tighten, they unscrew very easily while the radar detector hangs slowly I eat . Once you buy this just drill 1/4" holes and get nuts and bolts with lock washers so they don't come loose easily! Generally I really like the hanger, after the update it doesn't fall anymore! The price should be cheaper due to this shortcoming in the production of this bracket!

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No power
