My first thought is they are great and half the price of Keen. My final thought: no wonder they were less than half the price, they fell apart after two months of modest use. I didn't hike, just around the house, went into town now and then. In some places, belts began to protrude from the base. This also happened to my $85 Keens, but only after two or three years.
