Before ordering I contacted the seller to see if the bottle was solid copper and not plated and cited another review here that claimed the bottle was plated. The seller responded quickly and assured me it was "natural" solid copper. Now I can personally assure you, dear reader, that it is indeed solid copper. The bottle is as expected but the cork is too small and has a large notch. I wasn't expecting it to be the perfect cap to toss in a backpack or the like, but I was expecting a larger cork that doesn't sit anywhere near flush when pressed at a reasonable low pressure, which is good for a 1-litre -Bottle is suitable, pressed firmly.
