For what I paid for this item, it is excellent! There is a drawback that I have found.but with an explanation. I used this tripod outside, along the ocean.rather windy.I had my Sony 16 mp Digital Camera attached with a Zoom Lens also. As I was trying to shoot Video with this camera.there was a slight shaking from the wind.so that the camera was NOT perfectly still. I think with all of these factors (the weight of the camera, had the neck fully extended AND the wind), I could not Video the way I wanted to. I did NOT try to lower the NECK (which may have given the Tripod some more stability). I could not experiment at the time, was shooting RUNNERS so I had to be quick to get these photos.Anyhow, in the future, I plan on trying again with the neck lowered. If that does NOT help, then I will only use this Tripod on days with no wind and/or inside.If anyone knows of something I may be doing incorrectly or has a tip to stop the shaking during windy moments.please share! Sorry I got so WORDY here but wanted to be specific and not totally diss this product. IT IS a GOOD TRIPOD.other than the listed condition.Thank you.(*oh yes, I am keeping it, may get a heavier duty tripod for more rugged conditions. THIS IS NOT THE FAULT OF THIS TRIPOD).
