Review on 🔥 Aurora AU1410MA 14-Sheet Micro-Cut Paper and CD/Credit Card Shredder with 30-Minute Continuous Run Time by Richard Gaines

I can't understand why I've never bought a paper shredder in the past, I don't throw away confidential paperwork, bank statements, receipts, credit card offers etc. because of identity theft etc. It happens quite often, so I kept my old mail in drawers instead. I know it's pretty lame, but that's exactly what I did. Eventually I got tired of seeing all that useless old mail taking up space for no good reason, so I bought this paper shredder. a little overkill for my personal needs, but I wanted something high quality that would (hopefully) last for many years. I also wanted something that would last a long time because my friend has a cheap paper shredder and I literally have to give him a half hour break every five minutes! I've got years of crap to destroy and this is a device that I hope to use for many years to come, so I wanted something that felt like a balance between good quality and something that wasn't insanely expensive, so I settled on this one decided. thing beast! I probably overdid it the first night I used it. The first night I filled the bin three times! I took occasional breaks because I didn't want to overheat it and it never overheated no matter how hard I pushed it. I also applied a bit of lube after each bin emptying. The grinding quality is really good. My friend's cheap shredder is an old style cross cut shredder that cuts paper into fairly long/wide strips which can be a security issue, but this Aurora shredder makes really small micro cuts that seem much more secure. You'll have to be VERY patient and fairly determined to put the document back together (although good practice is to toss your scraps in a couple of trash cans for even more security). I really can't say anything bad! I don't want to name names but there is another review on this product where they downgraded their rating to THREE STARS because they didn't like the switch. While the switch may seem a bit cheap, most of the time it's not a problem. Of course that doesn't give the right to deduct a star, let alone three! I haven't had any problems so far, this thing works like a champ! It's also quieter than I expected.
