Well they're good, stainless steel, dishwasher safe. Very cheap so I bought a second set to fix my plug problem (see below). I like sharp knives. Now you don't have to have separate steak knives (okay, I haven't tried it on a real steak yet, but it works for chicken). Plug not Lg and Sm. This is Sm and Tiny. The so-called salad fork is about the size of a shrimp cocktail fork with only 4 prongs. What they call big I would call a salad fork. I thought 8 forks would be enough, no matter how small I use, no problem, but I had to get a second set as 4 forks (the smallest) are almost useless. So now I'm going to have 8 salad forks. I agree, I'm not a big fan of big forks anyway. The knife handle is great. Other pens do not. They are not rounded at the edges and have a 90 degree angle. Not very sharp, but not smooth either. You have to register them. However. I would have gotten the $20 set from the start if I had known about the forks. I won't be going back (I unpacked, washed and threw everything away before realizing it) so I decided to just get another set. But in general, this is not so annoying. They are strong - I don't think the scoops bend when scooping ice cream or anything like that. And it doesn't look like they're wearing a cheap plating. For β¬10 it's ok.
