Bought two of these and installed them on my sons mountain bikes - installation was easy, everything went smoothly. No problem. Also, with the ability to adjust the length, we were able to get the right length so the bike sits at a good angle. What I didn't like is the black bottom part - the part that slides out - it's plastic. , as well as the holes/tabs where you adjust it. For that reason alone I doubt the durability and am concerned that they will break or the cleats will break and become unadjustable and thus unusable. I have metal footpegs on my older bikes and I understand that plastic was probably used for cost reasons but perhaps at the cost of durability/durability. The footpegs can take a lot of abuse so I was surprised when they came out with plastic. From a business standpoint - every coaster I've bought over the past 40 years has been made from some type of aluminum or metal, hence my three star rating. Thank you for reading.
