Review on Hopkins 56202 Simple Vehicle Wiring by David Romo

Great for my 0.5ft TJ. The straps were about 4 feet too long so I trimmed them down. I chose to install the front and back of the wiring harness in the car because I'm off-road. Used the harness grommet in the driver's back corner and followed it to the firewall. I had to cut the wiring harness as the connectors are too big to do that without major disassembly. Very happy with the result and had no problems on my first 1200 mile flat tow behind my Ford Excursion. The front mount connector bracket is bolted to the factory bumper and my front curt receiver is on top. Works amazing. The only gripe is that the 4-pin connector cover doesn't quite fit, as there's a lot of rubber storage in the cover's tether. I'll apply some heat to it to see if I can get a better fit. Apparently the back cover was included. Maybe they only include the cap I got because it fits both ends of the 4 pin connector instead of making two different caps. Still, a small complaint that won't stop me from buying another car in the future.
