Others have complained that the brackets are not very strong. The mounts are probably not as heavy as some but they seem fine for my application. I mounted them on a 2019 Tacoma subframe to use as auxiliary backup lights. Thanks to the position of the frame, these lights are in an ideal spot on each side of the hitch and offer some protection. Due to the design of the brackets, it also keeps the headlights as high as possible, reducing the chance of hitting them. As for the light itself, these things are bright! The pair draws less than 3 amps, which is what a pair of standby bulbs would normally draw, if not less. And the light output exceeds the factory reversing lights by "millions"!
