When we ordered this case we were not aware that it actually acts as a protective cover even when the camera is in use. Part of the housing can be removed with latches, allowing you to use all the buttons and lenses on the camera while leaving part of the housing to protect the camera. When you're done with your photo, you can reattach another piece. This is a great feature that not only protects the camera but also eliminates the need to keep an eye on the entire body while using the camera. We also like the fun design.
