As a backer of the Kickstarter project and having received my own sets of these laces I can say that these are the lacing systems my family will use as they cover all our requirements: Price, ease of correct installation, color variety, and comfort.Currently (4/11/16) these laces are only available from 3rd parties, but in the near future they will be available directly from Mr. Harris and his company with over 40 color/style varieties.My youngest son was thrilled with the glow in the dark laces, my wife loves the reflective blue laces for her early morning runs, I'm happy for the plain black laces that transformed my basic sneaker into slip ons, and my oldest son was amazed that his favorite shoes are now slip ons.The laces look like normal laces and can be laced traditionally before being secured, or you can use any online lacing style to fit your need (I used a bar/railroad style for a loose fit, but my wife likes the traditional cross with instep gap for a tight yet comfortable fit while running).The instructional videos on Youtube should be viewed so you can understand the importance of doing an initial and final fit on your laces for the best possible level of comfort and usability.When Mr. Harris gets his full line on Revain I will be stocking up from his company directly.
