I bought this unit because of its compact size. What I didn't understand was how well that would work. I reduced the amount of dust in the living room. This little thing can really suck in air and I love how the digital display gives you an idea of how clean the air is coming in. I usually see a reading of 21-25 in auto mode, but as I walk around the room I see the display increase and the fan speed automatically increase until the numbers on the display decrease and the fan slows down. I can't tell you how quiet this thing is! I just love her! The device has a manual setting and you can change the fan speed. There are 4 settings. Sleep mode turns off the display and color ring if you use it in the bedroom. I forgot to mention the cool color ring, which glows blue when the numbers on the display are low and then turns orange or red depending on how much dirt its sensor sees. Overall I am very satisfied with the work and can recommend this air purifier.
