If you use more than one webcam in OBS to stream, you're probably experiencing black box syndrome. The camera worked, you switch to another camera and then back. Just a black box instead of an image. What nobody likes to tell you is that this symptom (barring other issues) usually means that your cameras are using too much bandwidth for the USB connection. Switching ports can help if the port is on a different controller. If not, you will always have problems with the camera. This card solves that problem. Why is the price higher? It has a separate controller (read dedicated bandwidth) for each port! So the four cameras live happily side by side, no fuss and no fuss. Save me so many headaches. I love this card!
