Too big and the filters won't fit

They're good for walking but with the filter installed they don't wrap around your nose. Also, the filters are slightly larger than a pocket, so they don't fit flat. But even without a filter, they don't stick to the face of a 10-year-old girl while skiing. I just don't know why manufacturers make these things as big as they are. They are very stretchy and can be a few inches smaller for a comfortable fit. In this form, they stretch and are mostly exposed.
