User friendly cross sector platform for realtime competitive analysis
The program allows you to see at all times what competitors are doing in order to adapt your own marketing plan accordingly; it has an excellent UI that makes things easy & very intuitive! It's not perfect - there can be some problems with certain browsers (such as chrome) but we've found solutions using other programs/browsers which have helped us get along without any issues so far.
I would recommend this product if one needs good insights into their competition AND they're looking something different than traditional B2C or CPG companies who do mostly e-commerce sales online. We use ur looker mainly just because its free, simple yet powerful tool (the data sources available here allow me to monitor my market pretty well).
Pros
- Great user interface even for non tech savvy people
- Easy visualization how many conversions come through each touchpoint
- Very complete insight about organic searches across major search engines including paid results from google adwords campaigns(i know i sound like marketers' paradise!)
Cons
- Some bugs related especially around Google Chrome
- Can't track affiliate links via tracking url when linking directly
