Overall this is a pretty good model. The most fun part is the build, which takes around 2.5 to 3 hours if you don't make too many mistakes. The diagrams in the instructions are a bit small, and some of them are drawn at the wrong angle, making it difficult to see where the pieces go. The small stick of wax that comes with the model is great for lubricating the axles. I applied some Teflon to the off-center discs and crowns of the pistons, after which the mechanism started to work much more smoothly. You'll also need to sand down some of the moving surfaces so they slide smoothly against each other. The kit includes a small piece of sandpaper, which is quite sufficient for this. Once completed, the model works almost as expected, but there are a few issues. Most of the problems were due to the balls being slightly smaller than shown in the pictures on the box and they landed in pairs on the moving steps causing some problems such as B. that the balls jumped off the track. The small railing at the end of the first big run (which really should have been part of the original design) is an easy do-it-yourself fix. All in all, a very pleasant setup, but it doesn't run as smoothly as expected.
