The smell is like a brick, sometimes there is a little smoke. Open the window and turn on the fan. This is the BEST resin I have ever used and I have tried many brands. Curing time is reasonable, dries crystal clear, low bubble and resistant to fingerprints. It mixes well with mica pigment powders without increasing curing time. I haven't tried other types of dyes, but I heartily recommend mica powder in particular. This is definitely my favorite brand. I already bought the second batch, I will buy the third. Use in a well-ventilated area if the smell bothers you, or wear a mask. The advantages clearly outweigh the disadvantages.
