Great way to split the layout
We had to split the 16ft strip lights on the kitchen cabinets 6ft and 8ft because the outlet was in the cabinet above the microwave. We have used this device and it works great. You need splicing equipment and you have to make sure that the colors on the tape match the colors when splicing.
