Works great on some things, not on others

So how magical they are depends on what you use them for. They are great for cleaning tiles, removing soap scum, grease, microwave ovens or removing stains from walls. Not very good for removing burnt fat, for example from the glass pane of a toaster oven or from metal pans under your stove burners. The only way to keep them in good condition is to clean them after each use so nothing burns on them. These things seem to have an affinity for grease and soak it up instead of smearing it which is great. They fall apart after a thorough cleaning, but they're so cheap I guess it doesn't really matter. These are great disposable cleaning sponges for those messy, messy jobs that ruin a regular sponge or rag with a single use. One of them gets damaged too, but they're really cheap, so who cares? For such awkward tasks, they are much better suited than paper towels or other disposable items. They also cut easily with a knife, so you can make a special thin cleaning tool to get into the vents of the devices to clean them. leaves a bit of a residue so you'll probably want to wipe or rinse the surface after cleaning. I haven't noticed any hand irritation from using it, but my skin does feel a little "weird" for a while after using it. Maybe because these things absorb sebum or something? In any case, I'll probably wear gloves when using them from now on, at least it will prevent any nasty things you remove from getting on your skin.

Pros
  • Durable and won't crack
Cons
  • Expensive
