I have both Zoo med and exoterra wire lamps (small) for ceramic heaters - both connected to thermostats for temperature control and both arrived new and undamaged. This time I took the larger one because it was a bit cheaper than the exoterra I bought for another terrarium a few months ago. Overall this appears to be a much lower quality item; while the exoterra has a label that says on and off, the enlarged one doesn't (which isn't very good as it's hard to tell if the SE is on without waiting a bit and not feeling the bulb) ; The area where the clip attaches to the lamp also feels less secure than the Exoterra, and the CHE fits less securely on the Zoo version, which makes me wonder if the CHE stays in place or not just falls out. With the larger version I also had to attach part of the clip to the lamp, which didn't make much of a difference but was a bit annoying. I would recommend spending a few bucks more and getting a nicer looking Exoterra wire clamp lamp for CHE.
