This thread is dull and not shiny. Supplied on cheap thin paper spools. Multicolored threads are completely unmarked, dmc has numbers for colored threads. The metal threads are very worn at the ends, not of good quality. Needles 20 are not suitable for embroidery or cross-stitch at all, they are too big and blunt and they poke big holes in the fabric. The needles come in a cheap clear plastic bag with holes, the full set comes in an equally cheap plastic bag with everything stuffed inside and the spools of paper kinked in the process. This may be fine for children's crafts, but embroiderers shouldn't waste their money.
