For the price I assumed it would be the typical thickness of a vinyl backdrop. In fact, it's akin to a dollar store tablecloth. You know the ones that snap when you try to set them up? Forget using this as the background for the floor. where the sand actually is. Any movement on it will tear it apart. The fold lines are cut into the cheap flimsy vinyl so they can't be pulled out. No matter what you use it for, you will see fold lines. I really don't see any use other than being taped to a wall. I found it useless and a waste of $15.
