This is the first time I've bought a second monitor for school and work. It's definitely good for the price, and since I'm now an artist working at home, working with a screenless drawing tablet and a second monitor was a cheaper option than buying a $600 Wacom Cintiq. And since I use a laptop 99% of the time, I needed a good monitor that would complement my 15 inch laptop perfectly. Honestly, the color and resolution are better than my real laptop, so it's nice to have such an upgrade, especially for digital art and art editing. The difference in resolution was a little annoying at first, but I got used to it pretty quickly. The only thing that bothers me is that I wish the guide was a little clearer on the process of connecting a monitor to mini HDMI via HDMI, I had to do some digging to get it working with my laptop.
