This hobby has interested me for as long as I can remember. When "granular" charcoal appeared, it completely changed the transparency of water. This is the only charcoal I use. There are NO alternatives to this carbon. It lasts twice as long as regular charcoal. Also, it washes much better than shredded charcoal. Once you use it, it will be the only charcoal you will ever use. I'm just an advanced hobbyist acknowledging a product that I think is second to none. Use it for a month and you'll see what I mean.
