After 10 minutes under the light the base coat was still tacky. I decided to go ahead with the color coat. It did EVENTUALLY harden. Then came the top coat. Again it EVENTUALLY dried. These two coats took about 12 minutes each. So in all it basically it took 35 minutes for one hand to be completed. I will admit the price was a draw but as they say you get what you pay for. This light is weak and if you are doing your nails and toes and have 2 or 3 hours to spare then I guess that's ok. I dont. Also you can only harden the layers 1 1/2 minutes at a time which is a pain in the butt. Perhaps there is a longer time setting but the instructions are horrible so I didn't see a way to set it for longer. Don't be cheap like me. I'm going to return it and spend the extra money for a quality light.
