Review on Repairwares WB13K10043 Gas Range/Oven Igniter - High-Quality Replacement for GE, Hotpoint, RCA & More (Flat Style Ignitor) by Terrance Haralson

I have bought a few of these (my GE Cafe range has three different igniters) and they have mostly worked very well. I had an issue with one but Better Surplus/Repairwares replaced it within a few days as it's under warranty. I have some advice if you are planning to buy and install. 1) DO NOT touch the item with bare hands. , dirty or oil it or it will fail. 2) Make sure you got the correct replacement. In my case I have a stove with a double oven and three different igniters. 3) Purchase additional ceramic wire caps. They include a few but I ended up ripping one of them off and had to wait a few days to get the extras. 4) If you don't know what you're doing, consult a professional. 5) Using the self-cleaning feature in your range will shorten the life of this and other parts. That is unnecessary. They probably won't last too long as the original ones lasted about 5 years (all three of mine failed within a month or so). I expect to get 3-5 years from them. Highly recommended.
