Lighting and ceiling fans Value for money

I bought them because they were battery operated so I didn't have to worry about 'uncovering' ugly wires around the house. Also, I have a two story foyer and could not place a candle in the top foyer window with a wire candle. I haven't heard anything positive about automatic dawn and dusk sensors. However, I decided to give these candles a try as I love their festive look. Initially, some required a little tap on the underside where you put a lid on the batteries to keep them from turning on. At the same time they worked. Then I put candles in all the windows and watched them light up at dusk. I was impressed that the candles light almost simultaneously (at least some can light a few minutes before others, but no more). The flickering of the candle is actually a nice touch. However, if you like the look of bright candles in your windows, I wouldn't recommend them. They are not as bright as wire candles, which do not flicker but are still visible from the road. Also, I received comments about the candles because they are different due to the flickering effect. I put candles in my windows somewhere around Thanksgiving and haven't had to change any of the batteries yet (I'm writing this review the week before Christmas). convenience!) and the battery life is great! No more ugly cables! I had my doubts about this product because it sounded too good to be true and I had been proven wrong. I highly recommend this product. I hope they last for many years and will likely buy more to display with my Christmas garland on my mantel! If you want your lights to be super bright, like the ones that are always on, I wouldn't recommend flickering. Effect.
