🕯️ Xodus Innovations FPC1520A: Aged Bronze/Black Battery LED Flameless Window Candle with Dusk to Dawn Sensor Review

I love this candle for the practical reason I bought it. This candle lights up at dusk and goes out at dawn. This light is too white for my liking, so I attached a shade made from an amber recipe bottle to it. However, this candle works exactly as advertised. If you prefer a warmer flame color, this candle may not be for you. But Xodus also sells flickering amber LED candles, which I also recommend.

These are the brightest battery powered candles I've found and the batteries lasted a full month. I also like that they have a light sensor so they stay on all night. This season I took the risk of buying four of them for the facade of the house. They're more expensive, but it turns out they're worth it. I bought one of these for each of my front windows. Each worked exactly as expected and setup was quick and easy. Just insert the batteries, turn on the switch and place it on the window! i like white It's not very realistic, but looks a lot better than the yellow flame of a candle, which tends to be very faint. I have larger versions of these windows for most of my other windows, but I wanted them for my two skylights without thresholds. They were big enough to use suction cup mounting accessories. The sensors work great and the battery life is impressive. I haven't had to change the batteries once in over two weeks in the dark Midwest climate. This year I decided to give my Christmas decorations a makeover and wanted our windows to look like candles. I looked around a lot, didn't want power cords dangling everywhere, and I didn't want to walk around both floors turning them on and off every day if it could be avoided. (Lazy I guess.) We bought 22 of these 8 years ago and all but 2 still work. Use them on our windows every Christmas season and they will look great. The light is a soft yellow-white, not the bright orange of some of the others we see.
