Size: I usually wear a large in mid-level fast fashion and usually have to size up to an XL for the super cheap Walmart clothing. I ordered an XL in these figuring with the sequins and sheer fabric I'd need the extra room and I wish I would have ordered my typical large. While the elastic waist would probably feel a bit tight, the thighs and but would fit much better and closer to the photos. That being said - if you carry your weight on your bottom half, the size up might suit you better since there isn't a ton of give in the fabric.The Fabric: I'm honestly shocked by the quality. While $50 for a pair of throw away pants isn't exactly cheap, high quality sequin items are expensive so I was surprised that these are as good as they are. I ordered the gold color and they are very much a rose gold. They are not at all see through (but I ordered a size too bit so that might change if you were really stretching these). One negative is the styling of the waist - it's not the cleanest line and the elastic is pretty tight even when pulled up to natural waist (they are a true high rise). If you don't have a flat stomach, it's not flattering and if you have hip dips they will be showcased here the same way if you were wearing a thin material high-waisted legging. So take that into consideration when selecting your colors and thinking about how to style these. The gold definitely is not forgiving at all.
