I initially purchased this alarm to alert me when a vehicle appears in my driveway. I hesitated a bit, believing it would actually work in my house given enough distance to properly alert me that someone had arrived. This system is very impressive. I can place the handset in such a way that I can hear it well. I placed one sensor in my driveway and the other in the pool fence. I get a notification when someone is in my pool area. I hadn't thought about it before. , but this system offers a security I haven't had in all these years. I have new neighbors with young children and am concerned if the pool is safe for them. The range is impressive and sufficient for my needs. It is easy to install and move if necessary. I'm glad I made this purchase.
