I have several and have been using the product for about a year. It is well made, easy to put on and take off, fits the leash plugs of several children's boards and SUPs and has never damaged boards. To avoid scratching, I try not to touch the circuit board with the metal end of the coil, the only part not covered in soft plastic. Boards are often stolen from garages, so mine are tied to structural 2x4s in an unfinished garage. Of course, if someone really wants to steal the board, they will find a way around it. However, this product gives me some peace of mind; An impulsive or less prepared thief will simply move on to an unsecured board. After paying thousands of dollars for boards, why not spend a few dollars and a little time to use an anti-theft tool? Highly recommended.
