I finally updated my home desktop with this new camera. My main goal was to help with the lighting and make it moveable so I can place it on my large monitor tilted at a different angle/away from my standard laptop camera. It certainly helped in both ways and is very easy to use. The only issue I have is that the video is "crisp" at times, meaning there are pixels all around my body when I'd like it a little sharper. But it comes and goes, so it could be internet speed, it could be a video conferencing app, it's hard to tell. But overall, convenience outweighs it and I'm keeping it.
