I was renovating my basement bathroom and found I had a rusting 4 inch cast iron toilet flange that was flush with the floor with rusted screw slots. You better try To knock the flange out of the concrete slab I used this flange replacement. Because of all the rusty iron spikes around the pipe, the neck of the flange didn't fit the pipe at first. My impact wrench opened the pipe. I then applied some liquid soap around the gasket and the replacement flange slipped right in. Align it. I will say that once the replacement flange is in place, it is very difficult to get back out of the old pipe. Make sure the screw slots are approximately where you need them when you insert them and you need to know the correct wing flange height.
