Review on 🌪️ Efficient Dust Collection Nozzle with Sturdy Stand - Shop Fox D2267 by Corey Holloway

I learned in a relatively short amount of time that 4" dust tubes, hoses, adapters and couplers vary by manufacturer. "Dust Right" hoses and pairs are not compatible with PowerTec and others. All are 1/8" to 1/16" in diameter; incredibly disappointing. I, like others, have started using adapters on my adapters to make the hoses work with power tool fittings and couplers. It's no different. I'm sure if I'd spent the extra $50 on a more expensive version I'd have the same dilemma. While I had similar issues with the leg holes not lining up exactly with the holes in the main tube, they are made of powder coated steel in a U shape and are relatively easy to bend or tighten an extra 1/32 inch and screw on. It wasn't that hard, so come on guys. no sharp edges but if you put your fingers in the end of the tube where the leg screw holes are I'm sure you'll leave blood behind so don't put your fingers in there. The dust tube and treble tube are large and easy to tighten/loosen. My dust collection hose has a 4" threaded socket (at the end of the hose) that tapers slightly towards the open end. Yes; this is Dust-Rite by Rockler. I need an adapter for my band saw, another for my table saw, and a others use for my planer. However, it fits snugly into the open end of the tube on this stand. For $49, this stand will work. I also have a PowerTec Big Gulp for another $17 and a 4" rubber boot with hose clamps for another $7 bought it. That adds up to $73 for a pretty decent dust collection accessory for my lathe. I don't see the need for a yellow spoon right now, but I'll toss it on the shelf and hope that one day when I need it, there will be.
