I think it's great for the price. It features a flexible gooseneck with a directional cardioid microphone at the end and a foam windscreen. There's a "volume" slider that actually adjusts the signal level from the mic, as well as a mute button to silence you - handy if you're about to sneeze. Bought for a work laptop with microphone. somewhere. and it makes me sound pretty bad. This mic makes my voice loud and powerful much better, although it does seem to boost the high frequencies a bit, making my voice sound a little "tinny". I connected it to my Win 10 laptop and it worked straight away. I've opened the various Windows audio settings windows and there are many ways to select it, but nothing that lets you adjust the frequency response. Microsoft, why do you need half a dozen forms doing the same thing? Why not add a simple 3 channel EQ to the various mic and speaker channels?
