These gloves are very very comfortable compared to the original Mechanix glove, they feel like a good baseball or golf glove. Also, as they have a ventilated palm and thin mesh back, they breathe very well and live up to their name as they have improved dexterity compared to their regular counterparts. The big problem with them is that since they are clearly aimed at the gun/military/Leo market, they are not durable at all. In the middle of the first day of a two-day pistol and carbine shooting session, the index finger and thumb were completely severed at the junction of the palm's material and the thin mesh backing, which meet at the end of the finger approximately in front of the nails. If they can change their stitching/pattern these will be great lightweight gloves. Also, in relation to the light weight, note that when shooting where you need thermal protection from a hot barrel or silencer, you will have significantly less thermal protection than standard gloves.
